Technical Coordinator, Events

Museum Victoria seeks an experienced Event Technician to provide technical support services for the successful delivery of commercial events.

Supporting all venues, the successful applicant will work with Event staff to coordinate all event related technical aspects as part of the Museum Victoria Technical Services team. The skills you will bring to the role include a wide knowledge and experience of electrical, audio, visual, staging, lighting, rigging, control, communications, digital media systems and ICT and their application in events of all sizes.

Representing Technical Services to our external customers you must be an exceptional communicator, possess excellent customer service skills and be able to work autonomously with teams or singularly as the need arises. Effective time management and documentation skills are a must and you will be more than capable of meeting tight deadlines.
