t7 Event Solutions expand with Show Technology

t7 Event Solutions can now offer even more fabulous lighting to their clients since they have purchased two Martin MAC700 Profiles moving heads, four MAC250 Entours, a Martin LightJockey, twelve Pro Shop LED Tricolours and twelve Pro Shop LED Strips.

”The MAC700’s are great for corporate gobos, they do a full CMY mix and the animation wheel gives some great effects,” commented George Kastoun, t7’s technical director. “It really adds another level to your event. We’ve found the Entours to be really rugged and having the four really gives me a lot of flexibility.

”The LED Tricolours are great and they mix really well. You can use them as a stage wash if you need to or to set the mood of a room. Plus you can put them anywhere as they use a lot less power than conventional lights. We have a lot of standard 300 watt PAR56 fixtures in stock but we’re now using them less and less. The LED Strips are great for decorating around stages or walls and again, they give us a lot of options.”

”The Martin LightJockey works perfectly when you’re working in small spaces which can often be the case in corporate work. As well as being able to programme many things with the LightJockey, you can also work live with it. It’s not as good as a console that costs you $10,000 but there’s a lot you can do with LightJockey; there’s a lot of flexibility and you can do nearly anything with it as long as you allow for a bit of programming time.”
