DJ City Smithfield has an exciting Full-Time assistant Store Manager position available at our Sydney Store. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with Professional Sound, Lighting and DJ Equipment.
DJ City is one of Australia’s largest growing DJ, Lighting, and Pro Audio suppliers. Our success is built around our outstanding team of passionate and dedicated staff. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing person to join our team and help Manage one of our flagship stores.
To be successful for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Excellent Computer Skills
Excellent Communication Skills
A Hands on Attitude
Minimum 5 years Retail Experience
Understanding of how to operate Sound and DMX Lighting Equipment.
Professional appearance and can-do attitude
Professional and engaging telephone manner
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in Adobe Photoshop would be advantageous
The ability to sell and up sell
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail
Hours of Work:
Monday – Friday
10 am – 6 pm
10 am – 5 pm
Taking delivery, packing and dispatching Hire and Sales orders.
Assisting with Preparation/Return of hire equipment
Assisting cleaning and basic maintenance of lighting and audio equipment.
Telephone answering / customer inquiries.
General duties as directed.
Relevant Office Administration (Reports, Rostering, Transfers, and Stocktake)
