Show Crew (Theatre Technician) Australian Outback Spectacular

Position Objective

To be responsible for the technical and stage management requirements of the Australian Outback Spectacular Show.

Reporting to: Technical Supervisor

Company: Village Roadshow Theme Parks

Location: Australian Outback Spectacular

Selection Criteria

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

? Working weekends and nights as required

? Responsibility for any stage management requirements of the show eg. organising props, microphone set ups etc

? Supporting performers with backstage interchanges

? Maintaining the shows technical equipment and operation of lighting including follow spot operation

? Operating audio equipment in a live show environment

The successful applicant also needs to possess the following:

? 2 years industry experience with 12 months previous experience as theatre crew in a live show environment preferred

? A good knowledge of health and safety

? The ability to cope well under pressure

? Excellent communication skills and strong customer service experience is essential

? The ability to work effectively in a team environment
