Embarassing group pose around Robe roadcaseRobe’s LED technology has recently been delivered to the lighting department at WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts). Students and their tutors incorporated the new Robin 300 LEDWashes in their lighting designs for their two most recently completed productions.

Trent Suidgeest, a former student and professional lighting designer, used the special features of Robin 300 LEDWashes in the Roundhouse Theatre on the production of Clinchfield. He particularly enjoyed the range of colours he could achieve with them. The balance of the fixtures played an integral role in the realisation of 3rd year student Terry Wedding’s design for Xanadu.

“We were all impressed at the speed and silence of these units”, comments Jon Davey, WAAPA Lighting Coordinator. “The 15-60 degree zoom range preserves an even colour field while still throwing fairly clean shadows”, he added.
