Robert Juliat for The Q

‘The Q’ – Queanbeyan Performing Arts Centre theatre is regarded as a premiere entertainment facility with 346 seats and it provides a warm, intimate atmosphere popular with both performers and audiences.
The Q theatre design and configuration provides opportunity for live theatre productions, concerts, forums, conferences, conventions … just about anything. The theatre was lacking in theatre analogue light fixtures and so they turned to Canberra’s Eclipse Lighting for a solution. “Of course we recommended the best!” commented Chris Neal, Eclipse’s managing director.
Consequently twenty-four Robert Juliat Lutin 306LPC 1000W fresnels with 6-inch interchangeable lenses were chosen. The Lutin fresnels are famous for their robustness and features such as a very even beam of light across its’ field.
“The venue has lots of touring lighting designers coming though and they can be very picky about what they want,” said Chris. “We know with the RJ fresnels that none of them are going to whinge! Everyone has been very happy with the new fresnels.”
