Revesby Workers Club add Martin MAC700 fixtures

The main auditorium at Revesby Workers Club has had a bit of a spruce up with new furniture, a lick of paint, a new PA system and the addition of four Martin MAC700 fixtures.

The new MAC700 moving head fixtures supplied and installed by Saltec, feel right at home alongside the venue’s existing MAC500 and MAC600 fixtures.

“Keeping the rig all Martin MACs was certainly a factor when deciding upon a fixture,” explained Phill Webb, AV Technician at Revesby Workers. “However the Club requested a fixture into which they could put gobos to cater to various events. It seemed an opportunity to get some new bigger, punchier fixtures in order to accommodate that request.”

Phil spoke to many of his industry peers and came to the conclusion that the Martin MAC700 was the touring rider friendly fixture to have!

“The MAC700’s have been working excellently,” he added. “For the Abbalanche show (pictured) they were used as main front wash. When we’re lighting the room, without using any of the architectural lights, they are the main fixture that we use. Quite often we use them to put effects on the wall.”
