RC4 Wireless, maker of award-winning low-voltage dimmers, introduces their next-generation W-DIM4 and W-DIMm3 wireless dimmers for use with Wireless Solution W-DMX systems. The W-DIM4 is a four-channel wireless DMX receiver with four dimmers integrated into one small device. The W-DIMm3 is a wireless DMX receiver and three dimmers in a miniature device measuring only 80mm x 40mm x 20mm.
The new W-DIMm3 from RC4 Wireless is a miniature wireless DMX receiver and three-channel DC dimmer for use with Wireless Solution W-DMX transmitters. Its small size, just 80mm x 40mm x 20mm, is ideal for use in props, practicals, and costumes. A comprehensive RDM implementation is accessible when RDM functionality is enabled in the host W-DMX system.
Each dimmer channel handles up to 50W at 12V. The device operates from 6V to 35VDC, and each dimmer can deliver 5A. Total device power handling, limited by input connections, is 10A. Over-temperature and over-current shut-down provide protection again wiring errors and load faults.
Any DMX channel can be assigned to any dimmer, with a choice of non-dim, linear, or ISL curves optimized for smooth, flicker-free LED dimming. This makes the W-DIMm3 ideal for stage, film, or video. Use RDM to configure DMX channel, dimmer curve, pwm frequency, and RC4 Digital Persistence response time for each individual dimmer output. Realtime RDM sensors monitor battery voltage, internal temperature, and total device current draw, including minimum and maximum readings.
Non-RDM users can easily assign DMX channels, dimming curves, and more, using RC4 OneTouch: with one press of one button, any channel and curve can be assigned to a dimmer. Visit http://www.theatrewireless.com/w-dim.htm for more information.
The W-DIM4 from RC4 Wireless is a wireless DMX receiver and powerful four-channel DC dimmer for use with Wireless Solution W-DMX transmitters. Its high output power makes it ideal for multiple channels of lighting on revolves and moving set pieces. A comprehensive RDM implementation is accessible when RDM functionality is enabled in the host W-DMX system.
Each dimmer handles up to 150W at 12V. The device operates from 6V to 30VDC, and each dimmer can deliver 12A. Total device power handling, limited by input connections, is 40A. Over-temperature and over-current shut-down provide protection again wiring errors and load faults.
