Production Manager MTC

The Production Manager is a management position, responsible for managing the MTC main stage, education and touring productions, ensuring the most effective use of people and systems in the realisation of the technical elements of the designs within the agreed budget, time and technical parameters.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

1. Budgets and resource allocation
2. Managing design implementation
3. Manage bump ins/outs
4. Environment Health and Safety
5. Manage Stage management teams

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Qualifications in either production management or stage management
• A minimum of 7 years experience as a Stage manager or theatrical production supervisor
• A hands-on manager, proactive in nature with maturity, warmth and openness as key personal traits
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with a sure understanding of deadlines
• An ability to demonstrate excellent technical and financial control
• IT literate, including use of Word and Excel. Experience with CAD would be an advantage
• A car drivers licence.
