Philips Lighting launches range of industrial LED lighting systems

Philips today launched a range of new LED luminaires that combine form and function to provide energy-efficiency and superior performance for a full range of commercial and industrial applications.

The new Philips LED luminaires incorporate the latest advances in LED technology, optics and thermal management, to deliver significant energy and maintenance cost savings over their 50,000 hour operational lifetime[1].

“In an increasingly competitive business environment, companies operating facilities such as warehouses, distribution centres, industrial work areas and car parks are continually looking to reduce the amount of energy used for lighting whilst minimising the cost of maintenance,” said Michael Downie, General Manager of Philips Lighting Australia. “As well as delivering significant energy cost savings, the simple and flexible design of Philips LED luminaires means they can be used for both new installations and direct replacement of traditional fluorescent and high intensity discharge (HID) lighting fixtures.”

The GreenPerform LED Highbay family is suited for industrial applications such as manufacturing areas, assembly and production halls, warehouses and logistic centres. They also perform exceptionally well in high-ceiling public areas, such as shopping malls, convention centres, airports and transport hubs.

The ConTempo LED is a family of performance LED-floodlight luminaires that can be used for a variety of applications, including general area lighting, billboard and façade illumination and industrial work areas.

With a fresh new design incorporating the latest in LED technology and a range of highly efficient optical systems, the Pacific LED batten is the ideal choice for industrial applications that experience adverse site conditions, including cold storage facilities. The specially designed housing achieves an IP66 rating whilst the ‘smart’ end-caps of the Pacific LED can be simply unplugged, allowing for easy installation and maintenance.
