Wayne Bateup, senior lighting tech at Canberra’s Nova Multimedia, had heard so many glowing reports about the Martin M1 console from a friend of his he couldn’t wait to get his hands on one at the recent Entech tradeshow.
“After spending a short time on it at the tradeshow, I had no problem convincing the owners of Nova that the M1 was the best replacement for our HOG 1K,” he said. “In the first week we had the M1 console at the Kaiser Chiefs show as their LD has toured the M1 for some time now and could not speak about it highly enough.”
Wayne reports that his crew has found the M1 very easy to use and within two hours of getting the console, it was at a show.
“As first time users of Martin consoles we had no problems getting it to do everything we needed,” he commented.
