Martin Atomics add new dimension

Greg Butt, GRB Lighting’s production manager, has just returned from an exhausting – yet exhilarating – seven week tour of the nation with Gyroscope and Shihad. Sharing the trip were his latest acquisitions; four Martin Atomic Strobes with Colour scrollers.

“The Atomics were absolutely amazing, said Greg. “We did thirty-six shows in seven weeks and they never let me down. They really are my favourite new toy. They add an extra element of excitement to the show especially when you use the spiking with the colours. The colours are brilliant and so intense adding a whole new dimension to the lighting.”

Greg also used some Studio Due CS4’s in his rig but unfortunately he used another brand of moving light. However he is now in the process of discarding these fixtures and is purchasing an entire new moving light rig of Martin MACs in anticipation of another national tour with a top Australian band.
