Hire manager required to join dynamic event lighting company

Essential Responsibilities and Functions:-

• Hire Client Liaison from initial contact to completion of project.
• Operation of HireTrack stock control software.
• Advise clients on equipment to use given budgets and individual requirements.
• Instruct clients on operation of hired equipment.
• Preparation of hire quotations and sub hire paperwork.
• Liaise with other departments regarding hire requirements.
• Supervision and/or preparation of hire equipment.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee follow up equipment return and short returns.
• Check and submit all hire paperwork prior to invoicing.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure cost effective supply of sub-hired equipment.
• Direct Liaison with Driveway hire clients.
• Follow up of sales leads to secure hire work.
• Forward planning to ensure sufficient equipment is booked for busy periods.
• Identify upcoming purchases which may be required.

• Assist Hire & Production staff with projects when time permits.
• Communicate and assist with associated companies.
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Telephone answering / customer inquiries
• Communicate and assist with associated companies.

When factory work load permits, opportunity exists for project work on site. This would include set up, operation and removal of equipment. It is important to note that the Hire Manager position is predominantly factory based. Much of the project work available would be after business hours, weekends or as factory work load permits.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:-
• Current drivers licence.
• Work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to forward plan and prioritise workload.
• Knowledge of Hiretrack system.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows & Office applications.
• Knowledge of OH&S procedures.

Hours of Work:- 9.00am – 530pm Monday to Friday

Lunch break of 30 minutes

After Hours work may be required.
