In the run up to the release of the all new Hog4 family of consoles, High End Systems (Austin, Texas USA) announced the release of Hog4 PC. Hog4 PC transfers the functionality of Hog lighting consoles to a personal computer, allowing the user to create their own control solution to meet particular requirements and budget. Hog4 PC offers a cost effective and flexible suite of software and hardware components that combine to produce a system the user needs. The free Hog4 PC software can be used for viewing and editing Hog4 OS shows as an offline editor. Alternatively it can utilize HogNet™ and join existing shows as well as coupled with an array of widgets and wings create a standalone console. Hog4 PC now also outputs up to eight universes of Art-Net and E1.3.1 (sACN) with DMX widgets attached, which further increases the power and flexibility of the software.
