They are powerful, strong, robust and attractive – no not the Ironmen but the GLP Volkslicht LED moving lights used to light them!
Lux Events rolled out their Volkslicht’s to provide colour and energy at both the Carbo Dinner then Awards Dinner held for the World Triathlon Corporations’ Ironman Western Australia event in Busselton, WA.
Luke Thorley, Lux Event’s Production Manager, is impressed by many of the Volkslicht’s features, in particular their size.
“They are so small and compact which makes them easy for rigging and transport,” he noted. “Plus their low weight makes them really useful in marquee situations. They also use so little power; we can run eight off one circuit which makes them so quick and easy to install.”
Functionality wise, Luke describes the Volkslicht’s as unbelievably quick with a great colour palette.
“The Volkslicht’s are a great all rounder, use them for parties moving around the dance floor or corporate events which just need subtle, slow movement and colour,” he said. “For the price, they are great quality and deliver a great return. They epitomise Bang for Buck.”
Other events on which Lux Events has used the Volkslicht’s are the Perth Fashion Festival, Fremantle Dockers Doig Medal Dinner and most of the corporate Christmas parties, carols and marquee events have done over the summer period.
