It's just as well! The Quartzcolour Kahoutek was heavy piece of useless kit, built especially for the ABC in Australia AFAIK.
It was meant to be a dual function softlight and fresnel spot, but did both jobs fairly badly whilst weighing a ton. Please don't bid on it. The lens was the only useful part in the entire luminaire (same as in the 5k Pollux) and that's missing from this fixture anyway.

Yep pretty useless except as spare parts maybe.....

No Greg. Not even for spare parts (aside from the Pollux lens)
They were pretty useless even when brand new from the factory.
A total blight on the industry.
This fixture is only worth its value as scrap metal.

But all it needs is a new lamp and lead and it is as good as new......


and it obviously comes with a bottle of Hahn...


edit: apparently it was 'designed as an outdoor floodlight with out a lens'... have a quick look at the question at the bottom..
