Anyone got or used a LSC e24 Touring Dimmer?
Thinking of buying some...anything I should know about them?
Alternatives? Currently using "home made" touring racks - two dimmers, two patch panels in a rack.
Really looking for a "complete solution" - LSC's rack looks very nice...
Thanks! |

Yeah i've used one. They're a really nice thing. the very unfortunate thing I encountered when using one is that because it doesn't have any 10A outlets whatsoever (only weiland, or whatever) if your stuck in a multipin compatibility "issue" (coz thier's 15,000,000 different ways to do the same thing) you are totaly screwed. (it happened, I don't wanna talk about it!) However, if you put them in your inventory maybe you could send them out with some breakout tails (just in case). But they are definatly a very tidy system and work well (espically if you've got a whole stack of 110v par 64's). _________________ Adam Boon

Hi Adam,
Thanks for the positive comments.
In regards to 3 pin outlets, most users have a collection of ST18 patch leads (the flat 3 pin connector that we use as the outputs of the patch) to 3pin extn cord sockets. This allows them to patch a few devices that are not multi-pinned into the e24 system. _________________ Richie Mickan
