Event Services Australia has become the first hire and installation company to take on the new Terbly Quad-7 moving head LED wash light, part of Show Technology’s new range of high performance yet low cost fixtures for venues, AV companies, installations and events
The QUAD 7 is a high output QUAD LED wash light with a fixed beam of 8 degrees. Capable of an extremely wide colour range with individual control of the ‘outer’ or ‘inner’ ring of LEDs means this is a small stage look as well as an effective beam effect.
Twelve Terbly Quad-7 moving heads were purchased and promptly installed into Jindabyne’s Banjo Paterson Inn for the ski season.
“The Terbly Quad-7’s really deliver bang for buck,” commented Shaun Moloney, who together with Mathew Kellet, runs the company. “We needed a small fixture that was bright and fast for a nightclub application. After some research, we came across the Terbly brand which outweighed everything else. No one could beat them for price and back up service. The venue loves them.”
When deciding upon a fixture, Event Services Australia were looking into the future as they wanted a product that would fit into their hire stock once the ski season finishes.
“That was a major factor in our decision making,” added Shaun. “Initially we looked at getting our own cheaper versions from China but it didn’t make sense – the fact that Show Technology is importing and supporting this product, says a lot for the fixtures. It’s a really bright, efficient light that delivers great colours.”
Using the same 10Watt QUAD LEDs as the others in the Terbly range the QUAD 7 is ‘a mighty little light at a mighty small price’.
