Entertainment Installations has added eight more Martin MAC 101 LED moving head wash lights to their over-worked stock of twenty-four.
The MAC 101 is all about ease of use, from its light weight design and easy-to-produce looks to flexibility in control so it’s no wonder that they are highly in demand. No sooner had the extra MAC 101’s arrived at Entertainment Installations’ warehouse all thirty-two of them were shipped off to a Central Coast Youth Alive concert.
The show, designed by Bryce Mace, used two trusses on tower-lifters at different heights. It was an ideal gig for the MAC 101’s to prove their ease of use as the crew did not have access to the venue until 3.30pm with sound-check to start at 6pm!
“The lighting rig went up fast and all the LED units performed flawlessly,” remarked Neale Mace, managing director of Entertainment Installations. “Some clever programming by Bryce created some great colour looks and also made for a very happy client.”
Also in Bryce’s rig were twelve Martin MAC301, eight Active Sunstrips, four fresnels and two Look Solutions Unique hazers, all controlled by a MA2 Lite console.
