Cornerstone invest with Martin RUSH MH1 and MH2 fixtures

Steve Piemontese of Cornerstone Lighting & Production recently invested in six Martin RUSH MH1 Profiles and six RUSH MH2 Washes. The company provides lighting production to a wide variety of small productions.

The RUSH MH1 is a super bright LED profile moving head with efficient optics that deliver a variety of effects and colours from two gobo wheels and two colour wheels. For added versatility and effect, it also houses an electronic dimmer and strobe, iris and 3-facet prism.

The RUSH MH2 is a compact yet powerful, fast and agile LED wash light moving head that features RGBW colour mixing. Unique wash beam effects are possible with auto trig shows and music trig sound activation.

“The first thing that attracted me to the RUSH fixtures was brand,” commented Steve. “With Martin you get reliability and great support. I like the brightness of the RUSH MH1 especially for such a low wattage. I set them up against some MAC250’s and they are definitely brighter.

“I really like the colour you get with the RUSH MH2. Its standard LED mixing but it’s very effective and it’s great that you have white as well. They’re a great entry level moving head LED wash light.”

Photographed is a video shoot for which Cornerstone Lighting & Production supplied their Martin RUSH MH1 Profiles as well as eight Pro Shop Blinder Bars.

“It was a music video that featured a couple of dancers and the core design was a background of Blinder Bars,” explained Steve. “The MH1 Profiles were there to help emphasis and create the movement and the atmosphere. In the white room the colour came from the MH1 Profiles and it worked really well.”
