ChamSys’ third generation MagicQ Pro 2014 console gives users access to 64 universes direct from the console, and was recently used to control 56 universes of lighting for Mumford & Sons at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage.
The MagicQ Pro 2014 series offers familiar, fast and flexible lighting control with in-built media server for pixel mapping, and media server connectivity. MagicQ Pro 2014 utilizes the same software and show formats as all other MagicQ consoles and PC wings enabling compatibility between all products in the MagicQ range, including the free software available at www.chamsysusa.com.
MagicQ Pro 2014 pushes the boundaries with 64 universes, all controlled and processed on-board without a need for external network processors. 32,768 channels in a compact package, proven to run at full speed with all channels fully patched. MagicQ supports Art-Net and Pathport protocols and ACN Streaming DMX. In addition there are 4 fully patch- able direct DMX outputs on the rear panel, midi, SMPTE and a 4 port network switch built in, a new hardware architecture for increases reliability and a new LED touch screen.
