Brisbane Sound Group take delivery of the first Clarity LX300 lighting and media control console

LSC Lighting is proud to announce that their first production run of Clarity LX300 lighting and media control consoles was oversold but if you’re eager to secure one of these amazing controllers for multi disciplined shows don’t fret as production capacity has been increased to meet the demand.

A member of the Clarity LX-Series, the LX300 is based on the successful and stable Clarity software that has been in the market for over two years and used on thousands of major tours and shows worldwide. The LX-Series is split in three different sizes to scale every type of show or venue and provide the operator and lighting designer a clean ergonomic work environment where everything is only a push of a button away.

Queensland’s Brisbane Sound Group were the lucky recipients of the first ever LX300 console and Sam Walter, Professional Lighting Sales & Support at BSG, is thrilled with the purchase.

“We’ve used the Clarity software with wings for a couple of years and it has always been a very solid and reliable option,” commented Sam. “However we needed to purchase a console for our hire department and really the LX300 was the obvious choice. The software’s proven track record combined with good solid hardware made the choice a no-brainer.”

Features that stood out for Sam were the LX300’s ability to integrate with media servers, the freesets (presets, but independent of fixture type and quantity), built in touch screen and the channel outputs.

“Our LX300 delivers incredibly good bang for buck!” added Sam. “It’s also so easy to use and I’m sure it will be in great demand from our clients as they are all familiar with the Clarity software anyway. If you know how to use the software it’s very natural to step onto the console – they basically just give you hardware buttons for all the software options.”

With the LX300, BSG’s clients will be able to control every type of light, such as PAR cans, LEDs, moving-lights, colour-scrollers, LED matrix walls as well as media servers from one intuitive user interface.
