ALIA Tour to Stevie Nicks, Sydney

Superstar singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks is just about to start the Australian run of her 24 Karat Gold.

Joining Stevie for these special concerts are the legendary Pretenders, fronted by Chrissie Hynde.

Fans will be treated to full, individual sets by Stevie Nicks and Pretenders who will both be performing their greatest classic hits and much much more.

Production designer Paul “Arlo” Guthrie of Toss Film & Design Inc. has created an elegant design that accentuates Stevie’s style and music. Lighting director Chris Lose, who is on the road with the show, said “There is no timecode in this show. Everything, including the lighting, video and automation, is operated manually. No two shows are exactly the same. Stevie likes to go where she wants, when she wants, even in the middle of a song, so you need to be attentive and be ready at all times.”

Chris, who is also well known for his monthly articles in PLSN magazine, has kindly agreed to conduct a tour of the lighting rig and design in Sydney.

The rig includes 72 x VL3000 Spots, 20 x Martin Viper Profiles, 20 x BestBoy HPs, 1 x PRG Ground Control, 22 x Solaris Flare RGBW, 24 x 2K Skypans, 34 x GLP X4, 32 x Rush Par2 Zoom RGBW, grandMA2 Full Size Control and an Mbox Extreme V3.10. Supplier: PRG Australia.

When: Wednesday November 8th
Time: 12pm
Where: ICC, Sydney
