Roger Waters’ legendary live performances are renowned as immersive sensory experiences featuring high class, state-of-the-art audio/visual production and breathtaking sound. Us + Them is no exception: following months of meticulous planning and visionary craft, it will inspire audiences with its powerful delivery. Waters is touring a large-scale production including jaw-dropping spectacles, flying scenic elements and multi-dimensional laser effects as he performs classic Pink Floyd albums alongside his new material and past solo hits.
Waters puts an old-school touch on his rock spectacle with a laser-light show during his performance of “Dark Side”. The arena is filled with colorful lasers lights and dry ice smoke to illuminate a giant, multi-dimensional laser pyramid. For one of the coolest rock visual effects of all time, the overhead rigging system is fitted with winches that house several laser units which communicates with additional laser units on the ground. During Waters’ second set, a row of 16 TAIT Rollios extend out, above the audience, dividing the arena into two sections.
Lighting Designer / Director / Programmer is Pryderi Baskerville who has kindly agreed to conduct a tour of this amazing production for ALIA. His rig includes 57 x Robe BMFL Spot, 8 x Martin MAC Viper Performance, 6 x VL 3500 Wash Fx, 48 x Solaris Flare, 11 x Solaris Flare (Touring Production), 13 x GLP X4 Bar 20 (Touring Production), 1 x VL6000 Beam (Touring Production), 2 x MA Lighting grandMA 2 (1 x Touring / 1 x PRG), 4 x MA NPU, 4 x DF50 Haze Machine and 4 x DMX Fan.
