Two of the world’s most influential bands of the last decade, Nine Inch Nails and Queens Of The Stone Age, have joined forces for a massive double headline tour of Australia.
In what could arguably be described as one of the biggest double bills to ever reach our shores, QOTSA and NIN will kick off this explosive tour at Sydney Entertainment Centre on Thursday March 6th 2014 and continue on around the country visiting Newcastle, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch.
With the first headline band on stage being decided each night by the toss of a coin, fans will want to make sure they’re at the ready for a big night from the minute doors open.
ALIA members have the unique chance to get a guided tour of the lighting rig from BOTH lighting designers – Paul Guthrie (NIN) and Fraser Elisha (QOTSA, originally designed by Paul Normandale) – next Tuesday in Perth. The rig includes 81 x Ayrton Magic Panel 602, 153 x Chromlech ElidyS, 12 x Clay Paky Sharpy, 19 x Sharpy spot, 97 x Martin MAC Aura, 36 x SGM X-5 LED Strobe and 6 x VL3500 Wash.
