The stakes are always high when a band of Coldplay’s stature hits the road and creating something visually new and exciting is a constant challenge, but it is one that production designer Paul Normandale is more than equal to. His design for this stunning stadium tour features 22 x VL3500, 24 x Martin MAC700, 6 x MAC Vipers, 16 x MAC2000 Wash XBS, 58 x MAC101, 26 x Atomic Strobes, 53 x 4-lite liner Molefay, 60 BB4 Liner, 6 x Novalite 2K, 5 x custom 2Ks with iPix, 20 x MAC250, a x 400w UV Wildfire, 8 x Chauvet UV Shadow, and 36 x iPix Satelite II. Control is a WholeHog 3 with wing.
Lighting director for the Australian tour is Graham Feast who has kindly agreed to conduct a tour of the Coldplay rig on Sunday November 18th in Sydney.
