Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour™ is a once-in-a-lifetime electrifying production that combines Michael Jackson’s music and choreography with Cirque du Soleil creativity to give fans worldwide a unique view into the spirit, passion and heart of the artistic genius who forever transformed global pop culture. Transposed in the theatrical and acrobatic language of Cirque du Soleil, Michael Jackson’s music and his messages have taken on a life of their own.
Mark Fisher designed the sets and Martin LeBrecque the lighting with the rig featuring heaps of Vari*lite fixtures including 65 X VL 880, 27 X VL 3000, 24 X Vl 3500 wash FX, 40 X VLX, and 10 X VL3X. Added to that are 22 x Martin Atomic 3000 with colour scrollers, 6 x IPIX BB7 and 162 x Chroma-Q Color Block 2. Control is by 2 x MA Lighting grandMA2. There are also 26 costumes filled with LEDs!
Yanick Blais (Lighting Crew Chief) and Eric Belanger (Lighting Director/Board Operator) have kindly agreed to lead an ALIA Tour in Melbourne next week.
